The story is half truth and half fiction to keep the audience engaged and tell story about a living legend.
It was the first year of college, a month into the program and a student comes in, a new face and if anime ( or Haruhi Suzumiya ) has taught me anything i'd be guessing an alien, esper or time traveller.
But i was too old for such fantasies, until the student asked if i was an alien, esper or time traveller but peeking at my TPDD log, i looked away.
A few months in and the transfer student is actually talking to someone, i tried to take a closer look and from her ears i could tell that she was from the goddess clan but in a college full of people from the devil clan and goblins, i ignored at first but then i noticed that she had a world stone earring which is only worn by the royal family in the goddess clan. With sympathy and trying to not show that i truly knew her identity i walked towards them and the goddess instantly noticed me with a 'I knew you'd come' this made me think if she really knew who i was but to fully understand her i had to agree to the friends pact, which i did.
And after placing the seal on me she agreed to tell me her story and it was that she had lost her memory and started living with a human family. I had to do something to bring her memory back, i found another traveller and asked if he could tell the princess the real story but he denied that claiming that he has been ordered by the time police to keep the transfer student under strict surveillance.
About 9 months later a deadly pandemic took over the earth, i suspected the transfer student was behind it but soon it became clear that the captured witch was behind it. But she wasn't alone.
I needed more help, thus the friendship pact was then extended to the transfer student and the traveller while i went north to bring in additional forces to fight this pandemic, another guest was waiting for me at home.
He seemed very familiar and a traveller if i had to guess but he was using something far more advanced than the TPDD, it was the TPRD which was still in testing 40 years later.
This guest didn't tell much but his friends pact and we shared a similar list while his was bigger, and it was when he disappeared after i found another witch.
It was then that i realised that i am the one who develops the Synchronous TPDD ( the current standard issue ) in the year 2034, that probably landed me in the team developing the TPRD in the future but looking at its failures i probably decided to go back and improve the platform the TPDD is based on.
