This is inspired by a talk i had at one of the Traveller's meet by Couch Surfing Ahmedabad group.
The idea is that everyone wants to travel and explore new places, foods and people. But most don't because of costs involved not just financial cost but peace of mind or security as well.
And if you are just someone who needs packing advice, i have a guide for that, this one is when you actually step out of the home.
You'll look for Food, Shelter, Transport, Misc..
Food is pretty simple, carry a bit with you and use it for barter.
For shelter, nothing could be better for someone on a budget than the CouchSorfing platform, the tricks are for another blog, but if it fails you can always look for hostels or go full rogue.
Transport, is a bit complicated one and depends on personal preferences but in general if you look like a decent person on the right side of road with clear sign you are pretty good for hitchhiking.
Misc is anything you'd want to bring home.
